In Dark Cloud 2 Monica has the skill to turn into a monster. She can not turn into a monster family untill she has a badge from one of that type of monster. The way you get badge's is by getting a Gift Capsule. How you get a Gift Capsule is by going to the future in Sindain, then going to Jurak's item shop.

The way you actually get the badge from monster's is by putting three item's into a Gift Capsule. When you do you give it to a monster and you will get there badge. First you must make sure you are fighting the type of monster you want to get. Like if you want a Beast badge you have to fight a Sewer Rat.
